যুক্তরাষ্ট্র পাকিস্তানকে কোটি কোটি ডলার দিচ্ছে, এই মিথ্যা বিশ্বাসের উপর ভিত্তি করে দশ বছর আগে পাকিস্তান পুরোপুরি যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের উপর নির্ভরশীল ছিল।কিন্তু চীন পাকিস্তানকে এর কয়েকগুণ বেশি সাহায্য করছে।ফলে পাকিস্তান চীনের সাথেই এখন বিশ্বে এগুতে চায়।
চীন পাকিস্তানে পারমাণবিক চুল্লীও নির্মাণ করছে। দু'টির নির্মাণ কাজ ইতিমধ্যেই শেষ পর্যায়ে এসেছে। আরও কয়েকটির কাজ চলছে।
চীন থেকে ইতিমধ্যে পাকিস্তানের ভিতর দিয়ে মালামাল পরিবহণ করা হয়েছে গোয়াডর বন্দর পর্যন্ত। সেখান চীনের পণ্য গেছে আফ্রিকায় এবং পশ্চিম এশিয়ায়। এখন অর্থনৈতিক করিডোর তৈরি করার বিষয়টি চীনের উচ্চাভিলাষী প্রকল্প।
